We have a variety of services and events to which all are welcome.
Sunday Services
Services begin with worship. We project the song lyrics on screens, so you can sing along or worship however you feel most comfortable. After worship, Pastor Sam shares an encouraging, relevant and Jesus-filled message. Families and children are welcome. Services generally last an hour.
Small Groups
We believe strongly in the value of meeting together outside of Sunday morning in small groups for Bible study, encouragement, and support. The small groups meet at many different times and places, and we are always looking for new opportunities to begin new ones. As our small groups are always changing, please contact us if you would like more information about finding one that fits you!
Community Events
We love being a part of and serving the Carbon County community. JWC hosts fun special events around holidays, like Easter egg hunts and Touch a Truck, an event not to be missed! All are welcome - bring a friend, bring your family, but most importantly, bring your fun spirit!
First Visit?
What to Expect
We know going to a new church for the first time can be nerve-racking. At Joliet Wesleyan Church, you can expect to be welcomed into a friendly, positive environment by people who are genuinely excited to see you and be here.
The presence of children is a gift to the Church, and children are always welcome in our service! If you feel the need, a Parent’s Room is available with a video feed of the service. This room is provided for parents with small children who may need to be changed, nursed, or comforted during the service. There are also children’s activity bags available in the lobby near the coat rack – feel free to pick one up as you enter and return it as you exit.

We receive wonderfully positive feedback from everyone who uses it, and many wish they had started sooner! Most people are using it for great videos for their kids, studies for small groups, or for their personal devotions.
